The TempWatch mobile application,"TempWatch Monitor," is a product of SiteWatch Inc, D.B.A. TempWatch.  (“TempWatch” or “we”) respect your concerns about privacy. And TempWatch takes your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy is meant to help you understand how TempWatch collects information, how we may use the information, with whom we may share it.

 

By using or accessing our Mobile Application, Products, or Services in any way, you agree to the practices and policies outlined in this Privacy Policy. Your use of our mobile applications, products or services are governed by our Terms of Use, which incorporates this Policy. These two statements should be read in conjunction with each other.

We are constantly trying to improve our Products and Services, so these Privacy Policies may need to change along with the Services. We reserve the right to change the Privacy Policy at any time, but if we do, we will bring it to your attention by placing a notice on the Website.

This Privacy Policy only applies to the information we collect. The TempWatch Mobile Application and Website may contain links to other websites that are not owned or controlled by TempWatch. When you access other websites, you accept that there are risks in doing so, and that TempWatch is not responsible for such risks. We encourage you to be aware when you leave the TempWatch mobile application or website, to read the terms and conditions and privacy policy of each website that you visit or utilize.

 

User Policy
Information we collect from the TempWatch Monitor mobile application:
When you download and use our "TEMPWATCH MONITOR" mobile application, we collect the following information in order to provide and improve our service:
 

  • Location Data: TempWatch Monitor collects location data to enable identification of our sensors and sensor locations even when the app is closed or not in use. 

  • Camera Access: In order to identify our sensors, TempWatch Monitor must have access to your camera for scanning our barcode located on our sensors. This is the only use of the camera.

  • Bluetooth Activation: In order to read sensors, TempWatch Monitor requires access to Bluetooth. We do not use this access or collect this information for any other purpose. TempWatch Monitor uses Bluetooth to communicate with our temperature sensors. The app will run Bluetooth in the background, even when not in use, to log temperature data being transmitted when you are within the proximity of our sensors.

  • Alerts: TempWatch Monitor may wish to send you notifications to alert you about sensor or other problems. This will only happen when you have approve it.
     

How we use the information we collect from the TempWatch Monitor mobile application:

  • Enable communication between your device and our temperature sensors.

  • Log temperature data accurately and efficiently.

  • Sent alerts and notifications pertaining to your service.

  • Enhance and personalize your user experience.

  • Maintain, improve, and troubleshoot our services.

  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms of service.

1. WHAT INFORMATION WE COLLECT

(1) Information You Provide Us. For example, we collect information when you register an account, provide information in your account, purchase in our store, download our mobile application, contact us by phone, email, or other methods, complete a feedback, etc. You are not required to provide certain information, but if you choose not to do so, we will not be able to provide you with our products or services or assist you with any issues or questions that you may have. You may visit the Website anonymously, without providing us with any personally identifiable information.

When you interact with TempWatch, we may obtain certain information through automated means, such as usage information (including device name, room name, etc.), IP address and browser type information. Like many websites, we use “cookies” to improve your experience and collect non-personal information about visitors and visits to this website. (3) Information from Other sources. We may receive data from other sources, such as third-party service providers which you have integrated into our products and services and/or information provided to our partner or others that we use to fulfill our obligations to you as a customer.

Although we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personally identifiable information, we cannot guarantee the security of any information you transmit to us or receive from us. You can help protect your information by creating a strong password to access your online account and by accessing your account only through a personal computer or device (not a public computer or public means).

To monitor and report compliance issues.

We may use or disclose your personal information or communications to do the followings: comply with the law or respond to legal requests or legal procedures; protect the rights or property of us, our agents, members, customers and others including the execution of our agreements, policies and terms of use; respond to emergencies; initiate, render, bill for and collect products and services; facilitate or verify taxes, fees, or other obligations that are properly calculated due to local, state, or federal government requirements.

We reserve the right to transfer any personal information we have about you in the event we sell or transfer (or contemplate the sale or transfer of) all or a portion of our business or assets (including in the event of a merger, acquisition, joint venture, reorganization, divestiture, dissolution or liquidation).

 

5. Do Not Track Notice

TempWatch does not track its website users over time and across third-party websites or online services, and therefore will not respond to “Do Not Track” signals. Unless you directly provide us with personal information, we will not knowingly allow third parties to collect any personal information from our website.

In order to bring you higher value, we may include third-party links on our website. These third-party links have independent privacy policies. Therefore, we are not responsible for the content and activities of these links. Nevertheless, we are still committed to protecting the integrity of our website and welcome any feedback on these links (including the invalidity of specific links).
